Day two: nine things about yourself.

Nine things about myself:

1. I am going into University this year and as excited as I am, I think that I am more nervous.
2. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to "pack lightly" when going anywhere, you should see all of the boxes I have for moving into residence.
3. My favourite colour is purple and it is also my brothers, this is something that we always "fight" about saying it was whoever's favourite colour first lol that and our favourite number, which is 7.
4. The most important quality in a person, for me at least, is the ability to laugh at yourself and the opposite of being like uptight I guess. Life is to short not to have fun!
5. One of my biggest pet peeves is when guys spit! I seriously just do not understand it, I mean one, it is disgusting, and two, WHY do you need to?!
6. If I could go anywhere in the world, and money was not a factor, I would go to Australia. It is somewhere I have always wanted to go, even since I was a little kid.
7. I am going to University to become a teacher and if things go as I plan them to now, I think that I will do my last year, which would be teachers' college, in Australia.
8. I have to sleep with pillows all around me and my feet MUST be covered with blankets, it does not matter how hot it is.
9. The colour that I wear the most is probably grey.
10. I procrastinate a lot. This is not the only problem though, I also get distracted VERY easily, which also slows down any process even more.

day 04 - a habit that you wish you didn’t have

Okay I know that I have missed like 3 days but being on the internet at my dad's house is a big pain in the butt as it is dial-up and super slow half the time! The bad part to living in the country-ish area :P

Anyways, I will just start here with Day 04 of the 30 Day Challenge!
One habit that I have, and NEED to break, is procrastinating! I know that everyone does this sometimes but I am really bad for it. You have no idea how many nights I have stayed up until 4:00am and sometimes earlier, working on essays that are due the next day. I think that most of my problem is that I can still manage to get good marks on them so I don't feel the pressure to start working on it weeks before. BUT, I know that this will NOT fly in university, so I really do have to buckle down and get to work when I actually say that I am going to!

By the way, I just got my Orientation/ Introduction week schedule for university and FABER DRIVE is doing a concert! I am super excited! One of my friends has Lights preforming at her school, GO UNIVERSITY KIDS!

day 02 - the meaning behind your tumblr name

Well, my Tumblr name is the same as my Blogger name: http://newtothis-rachel.tumblr.com/.
But anyways, the reason that I made this my name was because it is true. I am only eighteen and as of September there are going to be a lot of changes happening in my life. I have to move out and live on residence at the university that I am going to, and the experiences that I will be going through are all new to me. Just having to get ready to move out is new, buying what seems to be billions of dollars of new things, and packing up what I need from my room is simply driving me crazy. Don't get me wrong I really am excited to leave and start learning and living on my own, but I keep going through these phases where I think that I just cannot do it alone. I am sure that once I actually get to university I will totally love it, but until then I guess I will just have to worry about everything that could go wrong (but I know it won't, everything WILL work out for the best).

Day 01 - a recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

I am on the left, I really don't take pictures very often so this is from a family event that happened a few weekends ago. That is my cousin Madelene beside me <3

Facts about me!

1. I really love to sleep in... until 1-ish.
2. University bound as of September 6th.
3. We don't get to find out our roommates until we are actually moving in and I am super nervous about who I get.
4. I love my family!
5. I have a cat named Simba, I love him the most ;) I also have Bullzeye the cat at my dad's house.
6. Born in Ontario and have never lived outside of the province.
7. Jersey Shore, no matter how stupid and ridiculous it is, is my weakness.
8. Number one pet peeve is when people whine and complain but are not willing to do anything to change their circumstances.
9. I am two years late on getting my G1.
10. My favorite food is grilled cheese sandwiches.
11. I love and value the days that I don't have to put makeup on, I love summer in other words lol.
12. My favourite season is fall, weird I know but I love the smell that comes with it.
13. I can admit that I tend to be really "BLONDE" some/a lot of the time, but at least my friends and family get good laughs about it.
14. Speaking of friends, I love mine! I tell them ... almost everything, and know that I can trust them with my LIFE!
15. Way to often do I nearly get hit by cars, I am not exactly careful.
